A festive Christmas dinner in a historic seaside villa on Ruissalo Island.

Just fifteen minutes from the centre of Turku, by the sea of Ruissalo, stands Villa Kuuva – a charming villa where Christmas comes alive in the glow of candlelight and open fires.

Here, guests are invited to enjoy a traditional Finnish Christmas dinner, filled with small festive moments shared together.

Enjoy a traditional Finnish Christmas feast. And as evening falls, Santa Claus himself arrives! He brings with him the peace and magic of Christmas – something words can hardly capture.

An intimate event for 1-4 guests offers a calm and authentic Christmas atmosphere in a historic seaside setting – without rush, without crowds, just the true spirit of Christmas.

A warm welcome: The evening begins by the fire with warm Finnish spiced drink (non-alcoholic glögi) and a traditional Finnish Christmas tart – the perfect way to settle into the spirit of the season.

A touch of Christmas baking

Before dinner, guests can enjoy a short gingerbread moment – choosing their own cookie cutter and later decorating their own gingerbread cookie. This lighthearted activity is part of the dessert experience and brings joy to all ages.

Traditional Finnish Christmas dinner

Dinner is served in a warmly decorated room filled with the scents and flavours of Finnish Christmas.
The festive menu includes Christmas favourites such as ham, casseroles, rosolli salad, and archipelago bread, followed by a delightful gingerbread–lingonberry–white chocolate cheesecake for dessert.
Everything is served slowly and with care – just as Christmas should be.

Santa visits Villa Kuuva

When the candles burn brightest and the sea outside falls silent, Santa Claus arrives at Villa Kuuva. He brings with him the calm and magic of Christmas – something words can hardly capture. Santa will give everyone a gift — and if you’ve been extra good, he might have brought a few extra! You’re welcome to take them with you and continue the joy of unwrapping together later.

Families may purchase presents in advance for their children or loved ones through our partners: Turku Stockmann, Qui Design, Casa Grande, and Sylvi Salonen Online Store. The gifts are delivered pre-wrapped to Villa Kuuva, ready for Santa’s visit.

Villa Kuuva’s professional photographer captures the atmosphere and each family’s meeting with Santa.
